Induction heating was developed along with the discovery of Faraday's electromagnetic induction phenomenon and the proposal of eddy current theory. The earliest example of its use for surface quenching was the surface quenching applied to crankshaft journals in the former Soviet Union. Subsequently, surface heating hardening is widely used in automobile, railway, machine tool, bearing manufacturing and other industries.
With the development of science and technology, PC steel rod production equipment has been widely used.
