It is made of high-carbon steel wire rods, which are cold-drawing into steel wires after surface treatment. Then a certain number of steel wires are twisted into strands according to the prestressed steel strand structure, and then undergo a stress-relieving stabilization process. To extend durability, steel wires can be coated with metallic or non-metallic coatings or coatings, such as galvanizing, epoxy coating, etc. In order to increase the grip with concrete, the surface can be scored.
